One question I get asked all the time is what line do I throw. I’ve always been a Fluorocarbon fan mainly because I absolutely hate the stretch in Monofilament. I use Fluorocarbon 90% of the time and when I don’t im using braid. There are a lot of different brands so it can get a little hectic trying to keep up at times. I bounced back and forth between Seagar Inviz-X and P-Line Halo for a long time. In 2017, P-Line released their Tactical Fluorocarbon and I knew that I had to try it. If you haven’t fished it yet, you need to do yourself a favor and try it. This line is by far the best Fluorocarbon on the market. I use it on just about everything. It is strong, sensitive, and smoother than silk. From finesse to hard baits, this line is more than capable of getting the job done. The only knock I have on it is that they don’t make it in 25 or 30 pound test and because of this I still use Inviz-X for my bigger swimbaits. Pick yourself up a spool and you won’t look back.
