Lateral Vision’s Repel V1 Backpack
I copped this bag when it dropped last year. I think it was right around this time of year actually. I wasn’t sure about the ruck sack style but it looked pretty legit, especially in the olive color way. Fast forward one year and it’s my go to bag for just about everything. Honestly I’m surprised I only have one. From air travel and short hotel stays, to keeping my equipment and GoPros dry while out in a skiff, it pretty much does whatever you tell it to do. I cram everything is this bitch. Deck boots, tackle, jackets, extra gloves, buffs, camera, passport, the list goes on and on. I can (and will) highlight the pockets and features through pictures, but let’s just put it in blunt terms. It has performed flawlessly and is still in excellent shape after a year of airlines, saltwater, bloody decks, being shoved into rod lockers and compartments, hiking in the Sierras in the rain, multiple weekend beach getaways, being kicked around the shop and just plain used for everything. I mean... do I need to say more? Ok here’s some more. It holds a crapload of stuff and is tough as hell. The padded back and straps are comfortable and there are multiple loops, D-rings and support straps. Heard through the grapevine Lateral Vision is about to drop another bag similar to this one but larger and with more options. You can bet your bottom dollar that I’m grabbing at least one.
